Hello Remote World!

I'm Alex and I work remotely. I have traveled the world(still more to see!), worked & recruited in numerous countries and I am passionate about remote work. I am an Estonian E-Resident and founded an Online Business. This enables me to work remotely while being legally compliant regardless of where I am.

Currently, I'm in Spain and I'm heading to France next. After that, I don't know where I will go, but there are a lot of options and a lot of beautiful places in this world.

I'm sure a lot of people are thinking; how can you not know where you will live or be next year?

This kind of lifestyle is not for everyone, however, if you love traveling and learning from other cultures it will be very rewarding.

It's called being a Digital Nomad. Other descriptions are Remote Worker, Working Traveler, Location Independent Entrepreneur, or Telecommuter. The latter sounds more like a term from the 70s, but you still hear it regularly.

You can see in Google Trends that Digital Nomad is the clear "winner".

Regardless which name you use, the meaning stays the same:

Working remotely while traveling and learning new cultures or languages.

I tend to stay a few weeks in one place and travel within the region, others move more frequently. There are a lot of options and each remote work journey is individual.
